TBR is fundraising for Build a Bed project

Twin Bridges is raising funds for its Build a Bed project. Working with Sleep in Heavenly Peace (https://shpbeds.org), a national organization whose area chapter (https://shpbeds.org/chapter/ny-mechanicville) is based in Mechanicville, Twin Bridges will help build beds for area kids who don't have one. Included with the beds are new mattresses, pillows and bedding.

The major fundraising effort was a "calendar raffle" which was quite successful but still left the Club short of its goal. Now TBR is continuing its effort to raise money and is asking for donations, These kids need a bed--won't you help? Please take a moment during this season of giving to make a donation--fully tax deductible to the full extent of the law.

Selecting a Corporate Membership in Twin Bridges Rotary has been a great option for us at CAPTAIN Community Human Services. We share the membership among 3 of our senior staff and therefore find it easy to keep up with the commitment to attend meetings. At Twin Bridges our staff have had many opportunities to give back to the community through Rotary service activities. And, Rotary has been a wonderful supporter of CAPTAIN’s programs."

TBR’s breakfast set for March 23

Get ready for the Easter Bunny!

The Easter Bunny will be making his annual visit to Southern Saratoga on Saturday, March 23  as Twin Bridges hosts its annual Breakfast with the Eater Bunny.

As usual, the Breakfast will take place at the Clifton Park Elks Lodge, 695 MacElroy Road in Ballston Lake. In addition to a full hot breakfast, there will be a chance to visit with the Easter Bunny (parents can take photos) and big, big Easter Egg Hunt. It’s only $10 per person and kids under 3 are free.

This year there will be two seatings—8:30 and 10 am. Advance registration is required as both seatings are certain to sell out. After you’ve eaten and visited with the Bunny, it’ll be time for the Egg Hunt, set for 9:30 and 11 am. There is no re-entry to the event after the egg hunt. And please bring a bag for your child to put eggs in!

Register now and you won’t be disappointed!
